Jim Rockford teams up with young P.I. Richie Brockelman to find out
whether the death of a fellow shamus was an accident or murder. Rockford is already in
the CU through connections to Philip Marlowe and Carl Kolchak. Richie
Brockelman first appeared in the 1976 TV movie Richie Brockelman:
The Missing 24 Hours. After this episode, Richie began appearing in his own
series, entitled Richie Brockelman, Private Eye. After that series ended,
Richie met Jim again in a two-part episode of The Rockford Files called “Never Send a Boy
King to Do a Man’s Job.”

Rockford Files was probably the Best P.I. show of all time. Magnum P.I. was all flash. I've never seen the Brockelman series but I have seen his appearances on Rockford.
ReplyDeleteI'm very proud I found the references to Marlowe and Kolchak and send them to Win for the first two volumes of Crossovers.
