Upcoming crossovers: Batman '66

Although DC Comics' ongoing Batman '66 series based on the Adam West show is coming to a close, there are crossovers in the works with The Avengers (as in John Steed and Emma Peel) and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. I won't have time to include these in the books, but they sound like worthy additions to the CU, and I will absolutely read them anyways.

Upcoming Crossovers

Hack/Slash is having yet another crossover, this time with a comic called Nailbiter. Also, Kim Newman has indicated on Facebook that he's going to be doing an Anno Dracula comic for Titan Books, and I'd be very surprised if there are no crossovers in that one. Needless to say, I will check both out.

Upcoming Crossovers: Day of the Destroyers

Moonstone is putting out an anthology of linked stories called Day of the Destroyers featuring an original character called Jimmie Flint, Agent X-11. Appearing alongside him in the book are the Green Lama, the Phantom Detective, and the Black Bat. Hopefully this will come out in time for me to include it in the books.

Upcoming Crossovers: Conan/Red Sonja

Dark Horse and Dynamite are collaborating on a crossover between Conan and Red Sonja. Of course, the duo teamed up many times when Marvel had the comic rights to them both, but it's cool to see a new one happening.

Upcoming Crossovers: Tales of the Shadowmen Volume 11: Force Majeure

The contents for this year's Tales of the Shadowmen volume have been announced. Needless to say, I will be picking this up, as I have all the previous volumes, partly because I'm a fan of the series, and partly so I can write up all the stories.

Upcoming Crossovers: Grendel vs. the Shadow

Next month, Dynamite Entertainment is publishing the first issue of a miniseries by Matt Wagner where Wagner's character Grendel meets the Shadow. Note that the preview also has a Sweeney Todd reference. Assuming that this story fits into Crossover Universe continuity, I'm also going to need to read the two crossovers between Grendel and Batman from the 1990s. For CU purposes, the Batman in those stories would have to be Bruce Wayne Jr., the son of the original Dark Knight.

Upcoming Crossovers: Dawn/Vampirella

Dynamite Entertainment is doing a crossover between Vampirella and Joseph Michael Linsner's character Dawn. Despite what the article says, this isn't really Dawn's first ever crossover, as she previously appeared in an issue of Witchblade that Win included in Volume 2. Still, I'm definitely planning to read this one and write it up.

Upcoming (Possible) Crossover: Steed and Mrs. Peel

The comic company Boom! is putting out a new Steed and Mrs. Peel comic. (For obvious reasons, they can't use the title The Avengers.) The plot description indicates that this will be a tribute to, and/or unofficial  crossover with, The Prisoner. I certainly hope it is, so I can include it in the books. :)

Upcoming Crossovers: Phileas Fogg and the War of Shadows

Meteor House, which will be publishing my new volumes, has just made Phileas Fogg and the War of Shadows available for pre-order. This novella by Josh Reynolds is a sequel to Farmer's The Other Log of Phileas Fogg. I have a personal connection to this book. When you look at the credits page, you'll see two Continuity Editors listed. One is Win. The other is me. I won't spoil any plot details, but I will say that there will definitely be some crossovers in this one. It's an honor to be involved with this book, and I truly appreciate Win asking me to take part in it. He's a great friend!

Upcoming Crossovers: FaceOff

Of the characters named in the book description here, Harry Bosch, Aloysius Pendergast, Repairman Jack, and Jack Reacher are the ones that I definitely know have other crossovers bringing them in. So at the very least, we can say that Dennis Lehane's Patrick Kenzie, R.L. Stine's Slappy the Ventriloquist Dummy (who I remember from reading the Goosebumps books as a kid), Heather Graham's Michael Quinn, and Joseph Finder's Nick Heller are also in the CU.

Upcoming crossovers: The Vril Agenda

I will definitely be picking this up. Besides the obvious need to include it in the new volumes, Josh Reynolds and Derrick Ferguson are two of the best writers in the New Pulp community. Incidentally, Otis "Alcatraz" Brown, aka the Magician, also appeared in "The Knobloch Collection Assignment," Ferguson's story in the anthology Tales from the Hanging Monkey, Volume 1. All four of the stories in that collection have crossovers, and therefore I've already written them up.
