Crossover Movie Poster: Saboteur

Barry Kane eats canned chicken in a pantry that also contains boxes of Aunt Delilah’s Pancake Mix. This 1942 feature film directed by Alfred Hitchcock was brought into the CU by Frank Schildiner’s story “The Death Bird.” Aunt Delilah’s Pancake Mix is from Fannie Hurst’s novel Imitation of Life and its 1934 film adaptation by John M. Stahl.

This crossover is one of hundreds covered in my book Crossovers Expanded: A Secret Chronology of the World Volume 3, to be published by Meteor House! Like the first two volumes, this one is an official and AUTHORIZED companion to Win Scott Eckert's Crossovers: A Secret Chronology of the World Volumes 1 and 2!

  1. I believe Saboteur was Hitchcock's first Man on the Run film. The later North by Northwest was better, but Saboteur was an interesting film.
