Crossover Cover: The Journal of Milo Thatch

This tie-in book for the animated movie Atlantis: The Lost Empire tells the events of the movie from Milo Thatch’s point of view, with additional commentary by Preston Whitmore, the financier of the Atlantis expedition, who writes of the destruction of the submarine Ulysses, “Much like the crew of Captain Nemo’s famous Nautilus, they had ‘a plan for living and a plan for dying.’” Whitmore's comment suggests that Captain Nemo is or was a real person.
