Crossover Cover: Whispers Under Ground

Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London series features Police Constable and sorcerer’s apprentice Peter Grant, who handles occult crimes for the London Metropolitan Police alongside Inspector Nightingale, who is also a wizard. The general public is not aware that the supernatural exists. In the third novel, Whispers Under Ground,  Peter is served a beer called a “Mac,” which comes in a brown bottle, and is from a microbrewery in America. He concludes that it would probably taste better at room temperature. Mac’s beer is the specialty of bar owner McAnally in Jim Butcher’s series The Dresden Files. Since Harry Dresden is in the CU, so is Peter Grant.

  1. It's probably a good thing the beer is called a "Mac" than an "Anally." ;)

I heard good things about the Rivers of London series and was wondering if I should try it.
