Batman battles an Illuminati-like group. After defeating them, Batman leaves the evidence on Fox Mulder’s desk, where it is found by him and Dana Scully. Agents Mulder and Scully (from The X-Files) are not referred to by name, but their likenesses are unmistakable. Per CU continuity, this story features the third Batman, Bruce Wayne Jr., whose father originally held the mantle.
You know I was really into Batman about the time the X-files came out. I wish I had known about this. I even had an idea about Scully and Mulder going to Gotham and investigating the urban myth known as Batman. At the time, Batman was considered an urban myth in his comics, while he was a public figure in comics like JLA. Of course, if Mulder and Scully existed in the DCU, when Mulder talked about aliens Scully would have told him that she did not believe in any aliens except for Superman, Martian Manhunter, et cetera.ReplyDelete
